[BEN - Press Reporter Sung Hee Kim] Shinhan Bank was nominated in the first place in the awards of the best Korean enterprise /CEO in 8 consecutive years in 2016 on 23rd, according to the Korea Business association.

The awards ceremony was hosted in Belesance Seoul hotel in Yeoksam dong, Gangnam, Seoul, and Shinhan bank won the 1st prize, ‘World Class enterprise’. This award is known to have international awareness among Korean awards and is given to the one who performs outstandingly.

Shinhan bank was scored the highest in overall in international ranks, proportion of share in markets in quantitative evaluation, and innovativeness, business ethicality in qualitative evaluation.

In the ceremony Shinhan bank was the only one nominated in World Class enterprise, the best enterprise in business categories, Big/Small business in banking and finance field so it represents Shinhan bank a market leading and global Korean bank once again.

Shinhan’s localization and subdividing strategies will open a new market securely, and continue in channel innovation along with digital financial environments, as a Korean representative bank , said on 23rd.

Meanwhile, Shinhan was chosen as the managing bank in Korea 2016 by Asian Banker, 6 years consecutive awards from Korean top brand in banks in 2016, and won the grand prize of domestic Korean brand awards in 2016. Shinhan is making it clear to establish itself as the best Korean financial brand both internally and externally.
