[BEN - Press Reporter Sung Hee Kim] Gwang-Ju metropolitan city hosted 66th 6.25 war memorial in BitGoeul community center in Southern Gwang-ju early in the day on the 25th.
About 700 of attendants including students, citizens, war veterans, national veteran association officials, Mayor JangHyeon Yoon, and other officials from different organizations participated in this memorial.
Before the ceremony elementary, middle and high school students performed martial arts technics, ‘patriotic hero’ medals were given for 28 6.25 war veterans, and commemoration, song for 6.25 war, and rasing three cheers were done respectively.

On one hand, the medals were given to war veterans and who expatriate abroad registered since 2013 July to inspire their pride in glory in the war.
