The 'KCP(substitute parts) certification system' that give parts which have excellent quality certification marks starts from January, 2015 and ANGCY Co.,Ltd released front fenders on BENZ CLA200 that first KCP of the 2016.
Also, after implementing the KCP(substitute parts) certification system from January, 2015, the KCP was used by a consumer for the first time in a year and 8 months.
□ All that time almost of consumers have used OEM parts when they fixed their cars in Korea and imported cars particularly have constituted a problem because of high prices of their parts.
ㅇ So, the Mistry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport(MOLIT, the minister : Ilho-Yu) has implemented KCP(substitute parts) certification system to revitalize the use of the KCP that can substitute OEM parts when consumers fix their own car.
ㅇ The KCP certified by Korea Automobile Parts Association(KAPA) which is a certification authority are distributed with certification marks(KAPA seals) could not be replicated to distinguish KCP from low priced copy products.
ㅇ After certification, they have to receive ex post facto management by Korea Automobile Test & Research Institute(KATRI) with regard to their performance and quality and the KATRI cancels the certification if there is an inconsistency fact.

A plant manager of first-class repair shop in Gwangju fixed a car by using ANGCY's KCP said "I replaced parts by using the KCP obtaining government permission and I couldn't find any problem when replacing the parts in comparison to using OEM parts. I think that the KCP is much cheaper compared with OEM parts so, many consumers could might have a wider range of choices."
☐ JinBae-Choi, the CEO of ANGCY Co.,Ltd claims that "Many KCP have already released but they have not been connected to selling and repair. However, our KCP was first used for repairing a consumer's car and a traceability and insurance cover were fully completed. In the future, I will effort to revitalize the use of the KCP for cutting down car repairing fees and I hope that this will help consumers receive great benefits.
